ZOUKArt INTENSIVE WEEKEND - with MESTRE Alex de Carvalho

WELCOME EVERYONE!!!!!

Back when Trajano and myself were little ZOUKERS and building our dance and building our dance school - we were heavily impacted and influenced but some pretty incredible MESTRES. So to welcome back one who is SO incredibly SPECIAL to us - is an absolute pleasure.

We are thrilled and honoured to welcome back ALEX DE CARVALHO to our welcoming shores - to reintroduce this LEGEND of LEGENDS, so a new generation of NZ Zoukers who may not know who he is and what ZOUK POWER that he yields!.

RIO DE JANIERO, BRAZIL - has been zouking since the beginning of time and has built his own successful ZOUK DANCE SCHOOL is Rio De Janiero, training up the generation of dancers that you may know of: William & Paloma, Kadu & Larissa, Rafael Oliveira and more.
PARIS, FRANCE - Since his departure to follow family, he now has established a solid success in Paris, France where he has trained and partnered Mathilde - and is developing the next generation legends that you may be seeing on your screens - Michael Bozon, Patrycja Jakimczyk and more.
MAC PROJECT - He has successfully set up the infamous MAC project set to professional develop Teachers around the world and will be coming to NZ next year!

Across the weekend we will have IMPROVER/INTERMEDIATE WORKSHOPS for Zoukers of all levels (as long as you have solid fundamentals!) as well as having INTERMEDIATE+ WORKSHOPS (head movements) that will be stretching our strong up and coming dancers across NZ.

Workshops will work across concepts/techniques and moves based on what Alexs work fresh from Europe!!!!

All information that he will be sharing will work progressively across the weekend to build the GROUP and build the Zouk Community - (Minimum requirements of SOLID FOUNDATIONS)

4.30-5.00pm ASSISTED PRACTICA
