ACTIVE FOLLOWING: from “just following” to dancing

This class is for you if you are a mainly trained FOLLOWER who wants to INVESTIGATE and TRAIN:
. How to move from reacting or repeating sequences to interpreting the lead and actually dancing it
. How to be responsible for your own body and choose what kind of movement you want to do and with what part of your body you want to show it
. The differences between changing the proposal and interpreting it (yes, we don’t need to change it to be active followers!)
. How to suggest new ideas and spice up your dance if you want to (yes, we don’t need to change the proposal but we can!)

This class is ALSO! for you if you are a mainly trained LEADER who wants to UNDERSTAND better and TRAIN:
. How does the follower receive the lead and how do they process the response and interpret it?
. What would they need from me to make the movement that I’m inviting them to do easier?
. The nuances of listening to the follower’s response so that we can use that as the motor for our next lead and therefore we can really improvise together!
. What to do when things don’t turn out as expected (because of all reasons, even a follower’s proposal!) :)

We’ll practice creating an interesting conversation together in the dance, working on the two sides' responsibility, the listening aspect of both roles and the active communication and interpretation from both sides of the embrace. It takes TWO to tango, let’s build that togetherness for real!
