Tipo Tango bestaat 25 jaar en viert feest

Tipo Tango is dit jaar jarig en viert dat groots met een 3-daags jubileum feest op 11, 12 en 13 oktober 2024!
Tipo Tango begon 25 jaar geleden als initiatief van enkele gepassioneerde tangodansers die deze Stichting ter bevordering van de Argentijnse Tango in Nederland op 25 november 1999 inschreven in de Kamer van Koophandel. En daarom vieren we nu feest!
We starten de Pre-Party op vrijdag 11 oktober 2024 om 19:30 uur met de gratis workshop “Verrassende Wendingen” door Birkit&Muzaffer. Deze workshop is bedoeld voor alle niveaus Tangodansers, je mag met partner komen maar ook zonder en er is geen inschrijving vooraf voor nodig. De workshop zal tot ca. 20:45 uur duren. Daarna is iedereen welkom tijdens ons Tango Café met DJ Bart, ook deze toegang is gratis. Het Tango Café start om 21:00 uur en duurt tot 1 uur ’s nachts.
Op zaterdag 12 oktober is het Party Dag. Vanwege de vele activiteiten is de begane grond onder onze danszaal SCALA ook onderdeel van het feest. Daar zal onder andere het officiële gedeelte plaatsvinden. Om 15:00 uur gaat de deur beneden open. Daar vindt de receptie met taartenbuffet plaats. Het is leuk als de gasten eventueel zelf ook wat taart/cake/gebak meebrengen. Tot kwart voor vier is er tijd om een praatje te maken, maar rond die tijd worden we door Bart Wijgergangs, de voorzitter van Tipo Tango verwelkomt met een korte toespraak.
Vanaf half 5 start de upstairs Milonga met tanda’s van de DJ’s Greg Demerville en Santiago Onel, verwacht hier de meer traditionele muziek. Wat later zal ook de dansvloer beneden geopend worden. Op deze downstairs Milonga zullen de DJ’s Isaac en Robert-Jan een mix van traditioneel, neo en non tango draaien.

Zowel de upstairs als downstairs Milonga zijn gratis te bezoeken.

Op de begane grond is ook een kleding- en schoenenbeurs ingericht. Mocht je iets bij hen willen bestellen voor deze dag aarzel dan niet even contact met hen op te nemen. Daarnaast hebben wij ook een stand met vintage kleding en schoenen. Om 1 uur ’s nachts sluiten de deuren opnieuw, maar de After-Party begint alweer de volgende dag om 14.00 uur ’s middags.
Erdi&Sinem van dansschool Tangoceano willen dan iedereen die van dansen houdt kennis laten maken met de Argentijnse Tango door middel van een gratis workshop voor beginners. Deze workshop zal ongeveer een uur duren.
Om 15.00 uur volgt er dan een gratis concert van Típica Tango Roulotte, waarvoor iedereen uit Eindhoven en omgeving is uitgenodigd. Dus echt iedereen, niet alleen Tangodansers, is welkom. Tijdens dit concert zullen Erdi&Sinem ook nog een show dansen. Dus kom vooral luisteren maar ook kijken.
Om 16.00 uur volgt er dan weer een workshop, ditmaal wel voor Tangodansers. Wim Warman, de piano virtuoos zal een muzikaliteitsworkshop geven met de naam “Momenten om bij stil te staan tijdens het dansen”. Deze workshop is voor alle niveaus Tangodansers en ook gratis. Dit feestelijke weekend wordt afgesloten met een Milonga met DJ Vincent die om 17.00 uur start en tot 22.00 uur duurt.
Er zijn consumptiebonnen te koop. Die kunnen enkel met contant geld afgerekend worden, er is geen pinmogelijkheid binnen het evenement.
Alles behalve de drank is dus tijdens deze dagen gratis!

Tipo Tango started 25 years ago as an initiative of some passionate tango dancers who registered this Foundation for the Promotion of Argentine Tango in the Netherlands at the Chamber of Commerce on 25 November 1999. And that is why we are celebrating!
We will start the Pre-Party on Friday 11 October 2024 at 19:30 with the free workshop ‘Surprising Twists’ by Birkit&Muzaffer. On Saturday, October 12, it is Party Day. Because of the many activities, the ground floor under our dance hall SCALA is also part of the party. A clothing and shoe fair is also set up on the ground floor. At 1am the doors will close again, but the After-Party will start already the next day at 2pm.
Erdi&Sinem from dance school Tangoceano then want to introduce everyone who loves dancing to Argentine Tango through a free workshop for beginners. This workshop will last about an hour.
At 15.00 there will then follow a free concert by Típica Tango Roulotte, to which everyone from Eindhoven and surroundings is invited. So really everyone, not just Tango dancers, is welcome. During this concert, Erdi&Sinem will also dance a show. So come and listen as well as watch.
Another workshop will then follow at 4pm, this time for Tango dancers. Wim Warman, the piano virtuoso will give a musicality workshop called ‘Moments to dwell on while dancing’. This festive weekend will end with a Milonga with DJ Vincent starting at 5pm and lasting until 10pm.
Consumption vouchers will be on sale. These can only be paid with cash, there is no debit card facility within the event.
