Tango & More is looking forward to welcome you in the historical Fort Lent, Sunday 4. August, during the 2024 edition of the Summerdaze festivalito!

𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐭
Fort Lent is located where the mighty river Waal enters and meanders through Nijmegen's beautiful landscape. It was originally built to defend the railway bridge and thus the connection between north and south.
The fort has been restored and transformed into an authentic venue for events, gatherings and celebrations. This perfectly fits the mission of Tango & More: defending and celebrating the connection between people, (tango)dancers, tradition and modernity, diversity and inclusivity, by music - Tango & More. From the roof terrace you can enjoy a scenic view on the river Waal and Nijmegen, and maybe even a 'vanilla sky' sunset in the final hour..

𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜
Tango & More founder and DJ/Selector Jack will play an eclectic, structured music-mix of 3-track tandas (and silent cortinas), with classic traditional tango, tango nuevo, modern tango, neo- and inspiring non-tango music. Tangos, waltzes, milongas, fast, slow, lyrical.. Experiencing the different emotions, moods and attitudes in a meandering flow - like the river Waal ;) - will create a relaxed and social ambiance with a real party vibe.

The bar serves a wide range of beverages / drinks.

A selection of tasty mediterranean style meals will be available (payed by card or cash), between 18-20 hours, homemade by Jolanda:
* Big Tomatosoup (vegetarian), french bread with pesto / crème fraîche (8 euro)
* Burgur with tomato, aubergine, olives, feta, and french bread with pesto / crème fraîche (8 euro)
* Desert / Side: melon / bacon (2,50 euro), or melon / blackberries / red berries (2,50 euro)
