Bachata is a Dance from the Dominican Republic. It can be danced with a partner, as well as alone. Both will be done in the classes. The songs are often about love and heartbreak. In the classes, we will focus on the authentic version of Bachata with attention to Dominican culture. Everyone is welcome. It is a great way to meet new people, become a better social dancer, move, and enjoy. The trial class be used to determine which level suits you for example.

📈2 OR 3 LEVELS:

**Depending on the amount of sign-ups, we might make three levels instead of 2

There is the Foundation level at 19:00, where much of the fundamental Bachata techniques, basic steps and bodymovement will be discussed. This class is essential if you are new to Bachata or if you are switching from another style, to more traditional Bachata. You will see that the basic steps and movement are quite different. This class is also a great one to deepen your knowledge and improve your execution if you already dance longer but want to finetune.

Then at 20:00 there is the Intermediate level. In this class the basic knowledge and skills from Foundations will be assumed. This class will go deeper into musicality, combinations, more advanced movements and also footwork. If you are already an experienced dancer, you can consider taking both Foundations and Intermediate.
