Salsa & Bachata Saturday with Kahu & Beth

We are super excited to introduce to you Kahu & Beth - the hottest dance couple from Auckland, coming here to Nelson to teach Salsa & Bachata workshops on the Saturday, 14th September! 🥳

You’ll get the benefit of experiencing the best that the big city latin dance scene has to offer, while not having to leave our awesome cosy Nelson! ☀️ It will be a really fun Saturday, so bring your big smiles and awesome selves, and be ready to learn something new and exciting! 💃🕺

Not only are Kahu & Beth experienced and well-received instructors, they are also completely approachable and very down-to-earth people, which we think is a great fit for our latin dance scene here in Nelson! We’re absolutely sure that you’ll love having them here! 🙏


📋 WHO CAN ATTEND?

We wanted to make sure that these are accessible for most of you.

So, Level 1 workshops will assume that you have done our Beginner course, are familiar with the basic steps (even if you don’t feel like you’ve mastered them yet!), and are ready to have some fun with them on the social dance floor.

Level 2 workshops are Open Level, meaning they’ll be fun and engaging for all levels, and will assume you’re comfortable with all of the basic steps and ready for some challenge!

In other words, if you’ve done at least one of our courses, you’ll be able to participate.

Schedule:

12pm-1pm: "Let’s Get Creative with Salsa" (Level 1, Kahu & Beth)
1pm-2pm: "Own the Social Floor with Salsa" (Open Level, Kahu & Masha)

2pm-3pm: Break (rest your feet, grab a snack)

3pm-4pm: "Bachata With a Twist" (Level 1, Kahu & Beth)
4pm-5pm: "Getting Playful with Bachata" (Open Level, Kahu & Masha)

5pm-7pm: Social Dancing
