Metamorphosis: change of physical form, structure, or substance especially by supernatural means (Merriam-Webster)

Duo Tarenna, joined by Singaporean musicians Farah Wu (violin), Paul Huang (flute/piccolo) and Chan Sihan (cello), explores musical processes of transformation in collaboration with emerging Singaporean composer Ding Jian Han, winner of our first open commissioning call ‘Composer’s Drawing Board Vol.1’. Join us as we present a curated programme focusing on contemporary classical music that explores the manifold and interconnected ways musical material has been shaped and reshaped by the composers of our time, culminating in the premiere of Ding’s new work hreeviFruowT.
