Live Salsa @La Factoría

La Factoría is a multi-room Old San Juan bar where a dedicated salsa room with a house band (La 51) sits alongside a front cocktail bar and a small late-night club. The front bar’s big windows and swing doors spill music onto Calle San Sebastián; beyond them are Vino (a side wine bar) and El Shing A'Ling, the salsa room that runs live salsa on Sundays and Mondays. El Final is a neon red room with an elevated DJ booth where the night goes electronic.

Expect a mix of seated cocktail service and a compact dance floor — El Desvío is a tiny 10-seat candlelit bar tucked down a corridor, and the second floor is used for private events. Seating is first-come, no reservations; the venue enforces a 23+ entry policy. Shows are often free, the salsa floor fills during La 51’s sets, and after the live set the crowd drifts to El Final where the party pushes past midnight.
