Fran & Laura - Intensive Argentine Tango Weekend

Glasgow Tango Collective is proud to welcome back the fabulous Laura Murphy and Fransley Marcel to Glasgow for a sumptuous weekend of tango.

Workshops:

Workshop 1 - Individual technique to improve your dancing. Choose from either:

Followers' Technique - little secrets, big improvement.

Leaders' Technique – improve your balance, turns and strength.

Workshop 2 – Effortless Rhythmical Tango. Dance d’Arienzo and Tanturi tandas with style and ease.

Workshop 3 – Colgadas when the modern becomes traditional. Simply sharing the axis when social dancing.

Workshop 4 – Exploring Circularity and Turns. Finding options to improve your individual turning technique within the couple dance.

11:30 – 13:00 Workshop 1 – Individual Technique
13:30 – 15:00 Workshop 2 – Effortless Rhythmical Tango
19:00 - 23:00 Milonga with performance by Fran & Laura.

Sunday 9 February
13:00 – 14:30 Workshop 3 – Colgadas
14:30 – 18:00 Matinee Milonga. DJ Billy Henderson.

Monday 10 February
18:15 – 19:15 Beginners Lesson with Vanessa Leamy Corsini
19:15 – 20:30 Workshop 4 – Exploring Circularity and Turns
20:30 – 22:30 Practilonga


Prices:
Workshops 1, 2 & 3 - £20 per person per workshop (students £18)
Workshop 4 - £15 per person (students £12)
Saturday Milonga - £15 (students £12)
Sunday Matinee Milonga - £10 (£8 students) (£5 if attending the Saturday and Sunday workshops)
Monday Practilonga - £5 (free if attending the Monday workshop)
