Exploring what makes dance dance, this class gets you moving to the actual rhythms of salsa, beyond metronomic counting. Dance the conga, the bass, the keys, the bell, the melodies… all will be revolving around the CLAVE. Discover how to decode & find support & inspiration from salsa’s rich polyrhythmic mix!
SALSA SOCIAL 9:00 – midnight
It’s my birthday & I’ll dance if I want to – & hope to get you dancing too! with a blend of timba, jazzy mambo, son, salsa romantica, bachata, pachanga, merengue, cha-cha-cha–ALL the things! No need to bring drinks or snacks – we’ve got lots!, asking $20 suggested donation for class (includes social), or $10 social. Or whatever is comfortable for you.
