De Kroon Latin night

De Kroon is a grand café on Rembrandtplein that turns into a free Latin party every Wednesday and Sunday (21:00–00:00). DJs spin salsa, bachata and reggaeton; the nights are promoted by Extremos and the site notes special "Latin Circus" events that open three areas and run later. The dance space is the restaurant/bar layout, an armchair-filled main room that can host large standing crowds and is split into zones rather than one purpose-built floor.

You’ll find a long bar facing the square and tables that are sometimes cleared to make room; expect DJ-led sets rather than live bands. On Fridays and Saturdays De Kroon switches to club programming (house/top‑40) and stays open until 04:00; Saturday’s Dale Latin Club focuses on reggaeton and has a free-entry window early in the night. The venue advertises classes and workshops nearby if you want a warm-up before dancing.
