101 - HOW TO ZOUK TECHNIQUES
For Brazilian Zouk dancers AND dancers of other genres: Bachata, Kizomba, Salsa, WCS etc.

Over the past years of teaching many bootcamps I developed this idea: spending a whole day working on one specific technique under different perspectives and with different amazing guest teachers.

Going into the very detail of the foundation of rotisserie turn technique.
How to lead & follow rotisserie turns safely, tipps for a healthy and beautiful execution. No matter which dance. We will go into all the drills and all the little details, to finally make you understand this technique.

➡️ 17:30-19:30 VARIATION
Application & Transitions in Bachata & Brazilian Zouk
How can you use these techniques for different movements you have seen out there? We will have the time to train advanced techniques and transitions, that you usually don’t have time to train on.
We will discuss how to use rotisserie turns inside of Bachata & Brazilian Zouk. How to enter & exit, how to combine and transition between tilted turns, linear headmovements & rotisserie turns.

➡️ 20:00-22:00 INTEGRATION
Training time & social. We will have two rooms, one for Bachata and one room for Brazilian Zouk, so you can really train on your new techniques with individual feedback from the teachers.

✨ The teachers ✨

Stefaan: Stefaan is one of the renown dance fusion bachata teachers. He is known all over the world for his incredible social dancing skills, leading zouk inspired movements that the followers have not been able to do previous to dancing with him 🤯
He is also known for his love for detail and for learning and incorporating more and more zouk movements into his bachata.

Julinha: Julinha is the ZoukCologne headteacher at tanzraum and has been teaching workshops all over Europe, in the US and in Asia. She is known for her love for technical details, her drills and for keeping the fun up in class even with all these technical topics.

‼️Suggested Level ‼️
We recommend at least intermediate level / level 2 to participate at this event. We will require basic techniques such as regular turns, frame, body waves & isolations, embrace, smooth weight transfers and all basics of Brazilian Zouk OR Bachata as dominated.
